Recent big news for us at Clifford T. Shean is that we have caught the eye of former Dragons’ Den investor and star Theo Paphitis.
We were picked as one of the six winners of Theo Paphitis ‘Small Business Sunday’ twitter competition, being crowned a #SBS winner.
Every week, Mr Paphitis chooses six winners, from companies that have tweeted him, and he then retweets their 140 character business description to over 450,000 followers on his Twitter feed.
We are thrilled to have been picked as a ‘Small Business Sunday’ winner. Since our win was announced we have seen an increase in followers on our social media profiles and increased visits to our website.
For those of you who are not aware of our history, Clifford T. Shean was set up in 1972 by Clifford and Muriel Shean with one Morris 1000 van and bags of enthusiasm. Over four decades on, the business has grown considerably employing 9 staff and supporting apprentices. The well established business is now managed by Clifford and Muriel’s youngest son Tom Shean and is based in Bourton, Dorset.
If you want to join us as a #sbs winner you need to; follow @Theopaphitis on Twitter and tweet your business on Sunday between 5.00pm and 7.30pm. Each week Theo reviews and chooses his favourite lucky six businesses who are then retweeted. The benefits range from increased Twitter followers to positive media publicity and increased sales.
